On May 14, 2017 Deacon Bruce Salas was ordained as Priest and installed as Vicar of St. Mary's at Hill Anglican Church. The ordination was conducted by Archbishop Dwight D. Irons.

St. Mary's at Hill Anglican Cathedral will observe 3 years of celebrations commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the foundingOf this Historic church in the Messilla Valley land and building given by Dr. Joseph Hill and family and The Reverend Hunter Lewis  (Preacher Lewis) first Priest to serve and minister to Saint Mary's at Hill and responsible for the founding of 22 missions and as much as a third of the students at New Mexico's Agricultural College  now New Mexico State College and University. Preacher and Edith Lewis belonged to an Era that has passed into New Mexico history.
But all along the Rio Grande, Valley the impact of their dedicated, endearing human lives will never be forgotten.

 

The New stained glass window of Saint Mary and the infant Jesus above the Altar will be Blessed and dedicated on Easter Day April 16th 2017 10:00 A.M. with a Festival Eucharist with music and Sermon, followed by a reception and Dinner in the Parish - House everyone is invited to attend.
